Andrew Ütt

Andrew Ütt es artista y curador graduado del California College of Arts and Crafts. Lleva nueve años desempeñándose en el mundo del arte y ha estado vinculado a diferentes escuelas, galerías y museos basados en California, incluidos: Southern Exposure en San Francisco, Mingei International Museum en San Diego, Pro Arts Gallery en Oakland, y Natural World Museum en San Francisco en donde trabajó en cargos administrativos y de desarrollo de programas educativos. Recientemente se desempeñó como socio de enlace y encargado de comunicaciones con la comunidad para Art Woks For Change, organización dedicada a la creación de exhibiciones de arte contemporáneo basadas en problemáticas sociales y ambientales. Andrew trabaja permanentemente con artistas de varias disciplinas alrededor del mundo como consultor y en el 2008 abrió Andrew Ütt Gallery en Oakland, California, para presentar trabajos de artistas emergentes a nivel internacional y mostrar así las similitudes entre ideologías interculturales. En el 2009 fue co-curador del Festival de Video VIBA Festival en Buenos Aires, Argentina. En el 2010 co-fundó y dirigió Dancing Elephant Projects, galería de arte itinerante en la ciudad de Bogotá. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Bogotá en donde es co-director de la primera galería de arte dedicada exclusivamente a mostrar fotografía, Galería MÜ.
